The Welding Lab at Texas Tech University seeks to teach agricultural education students about metalworking and welding practices. It hosts a variety of equipment such as oxyacetylene torches, a CNC Plasma Table, and both Shielded Metal Arc (stick) and Metal Arc (MIG) welders. This tour is of the Texas Tech University Welding Lab, located in the AGED Building. Throughout the tour, learners can travel through the laboratory at their own pace to discover welding equipment, protocols, and techniques. Visitors can observe each workstation and the type of welding that occurs there.
